Marine Operations - Captain Waterbus

About the role

The Seasonal Waterbus Captain transports passengers around 8 separate docks at the Marina. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vessels legally and safely
• Supervisor onboard crew
• Enforces crew and passenger safety
• Administrative duties including, computer work, and some cash handling
• Filling out shipboard logs, and reports
• Conduct crew training, drills, and exercises
• Participates in USCG inspections
• Narration / make announcements over PA system
• Verifies the vessels have been properly secured after sailing
• Will be required to be available for work weekends and on all major holidays.

Requirements & Qualifications

• USCG 50-ton License or higher
• High School or equivalent
