Key Responsibilities
- Become DOT certified to perform hydrostatic testing of pressurized cylinders.
- Learn the basic inspection criteria for inspecting portable/semi-portable fire extinguishers/cylinders.
- Understand and implement the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Understand the purpose, daily use function of Hiller’s Job Safety Analysis Forms.
- Provide excellent customer service/satisfaction.
- Aid Lead Mechanical Technicians with installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems worldwide.
- Perform hydrostatic testing of firehoses.
- Perform inspections of portable/semi-portable fire extinguishers.
- Perform inspections and testing of Water Mist systems.
- Perform inspections and testing of Fire Suppression systems.
- Perform inspections and testing of Galley Hood Water Washdown systems.
- Perform inspections and testing of Fire Detection Systems.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Experience with fire protection and safety equipment.
- Knowledge of marine vessel operations and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
