Marine Technician

About the role

The Boat House of Lake Country Service Department is seeking an experienced Marine technician to join their team. All candidates must have previous marine, auto, or heavy equipment engine experience. Preference is given to those with dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats, and other watercraft.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to different locations for on-site services.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

The pay for this position is based upon experience and could range from $22.00 to $38.00 per hour. Overtime is available based on certifications. Pay

The pay for this position is based upon experience and could range from $22.00 to $38.00 per hour. Overtime is available based on certifications.
