Marcomm Specialist (Temporary)
About the Role
Leads the communication of a product’s customer value proposition to the market by effectively executing the defined go-to-market strategy. Marketing Communication is at the center of the hub-and-spoke model and is responsible for gaining the input and expertise to deliver the intended awareness, consideration, trial, and repeat goals of a particular product or campaign. Marketing Communication is also tasked with elevating the Yamaha brand’s equity with customers by delivering effective and compelling messaging to market.
Responsibilities
- Executes marketing activities defined in GTM plans to create demand and preference for Yamaha products and services in alignment with category strategies and goals.
- Ensures creative marketing materials adhere to Yamaha’s brand guidelines.
- Ensures that expense for assigned product categories align with the marketing budget guidelines.
- Collaborates with internal functional teams to integrate key insights and journeys into marketing campaigns, briefs, content, etc.
- Assists campaign and creative brief development for marketing initiatives and articulates strategy and feedback to agency teams.
- Collaborates with in-house advertising agency and other key partners to deliver marketing assets.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on internal marketing initiative results.
- Communicates marketing activities, plan updates, and completions to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Ideal experience executing cross-platform traditional, digital, and social marketing programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Preferred experience working with top consumer brands.
- Experience executing the production of one or more of the following marketing tactics: print, digital, social, content marketing, trade shows, PR.
- Experience developing sales support tools for sales & marketing initiatives or product launches.
- Experience with creative development tools/software (Workfront, Wrike, Teamwork, Asana, etc.).
- Experience working within a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

Pay
The hiring range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00 per hour. Final offers within the posted compensation range are based on qualifications, skills and experience required for the role.
