Marching Band - Visual Caption Head

Major Responsibilities And Duties

• Support the marching band program, including design, direct, and instruction of the visual program.
• Provide visual instruction for participation in extracurricular events such as football games, pep rallies, parades, and community-based activities.
• Brass experience preferred.
• Adequate to adhere to rehearsal and performance schedules and protocols.
• Attend all performances and events.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Accompany and supervise students on out-of-town trips, including bus rides to and from destinations.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Comply with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and BOE policies.

• Passion for student-centered arts education.
• Committed to continuous program growth and to creating meaningful performance opportunities.
• Appropriate New Jersey Certification or New Jersey Substitute Certification required.
