Marching Band Camp - Visual Caption Head

Responsibilities

• Design, direct, and instruction of high school marching band.
• Establish performance requirements.
• Brass experience preferred.
• Attend all days of band camp.
• Comply with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and board policy.
• Cookordinate band booster club for activities during band camp.
• Ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed wisely.
• Maintain current inventory of all fixed assets within department.
• Oversee process of cleaning, repairing, and storing of all equipment.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Accompany and supervise students during band camp.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate New Jersey Certification or New Jersey Substitute Certification required.
