Marching Band Student Assistant (Student Position)

About the role

This position involves all aspects of supporting the Marching Band's activities with duties as assigned by lead faculty. This is a fun, enjoyable and busy environment and we're looking for team members who are dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough and accountable for their work.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and distributing supplies, uniforms and equipment as directed.
• Photocopying, filing, distributing & collecting sheet music to / from musicians.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Twisting / turning while moving equipment.
• Assisting while on team travel.

Requirements

• Ability to lift & move musical instruments, equipment & uniforms up to 50 lbs.
• Assist faculty before, during & after rehearsals & performances with projects as assigned (flexibility).
• Dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough & accountable for your work.
• May be required to travel with the band.

Qualifications / Skills

Previous band experience is a plus.

Pay

$13.73 per hour (advertised salary)
