Job Description/Typical Task Breakdown: 30% office & 70% shop floor. Supporting PCN, testing and validating process improvements, working with operators on maintaining processes, preparing reports and process review documents.

Responsibilities

Part of the ME group supporting production processes and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Years of experience: 8-10. Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in engineering field preferred but will consider comparable experience. (8-10 years if no BA). Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Skills

• Professional verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports
• Manufacturing and machining environment experience
• CNC programming and process development
• Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding
• Experience developing and maintaining automated cells

Pay

The pay range for this role is $90,000 – $95,000 USD per year (Pontiac, IL).
