Manufacturing Trainee - Paid Training Program
About the role
Penn United is seeking motivated individuals to join our Paid Manufacturing Training Program. This intensive, hands-on program is designed to provide the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to begin a rewarding career in modern manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Learn manufacturing skills from experienced professionals
- Apply classroom knowledge through hands-on work assignments
- Attend all scheduled classroom and on-the-job training sessions
- Complete assignments and meet program standards
- Develop shop floor skills while meeting performance expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn every day
Requirements
- To be considered for this program, applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successfully complete an aptitude assessment and interview
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, and problem-solving ability
- Have a strong work ethic of dependability as demonstrated in regular attendance and punctuality
- Be willing to work daylight, afternoon, and/or midnight shifts as needed after classroom training is complete
- Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
