About the role

BETA Technologies is dedicated to revolutionizing electric aviation through innovation and sustainability. As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in assembling and maintaining electric powertrain components.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on assembly of electric powertrain components
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Performing in-process quality control inspections and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation
  • Regularly inspecting and cleaning manufacturing equipment
  • Updating and maintaining maintenance logs
  • Providing productivity and incident reports
  • Complying with all safety protocols and regulations
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited institution preferred
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean 5S, and Kanban
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics
  • Understanding of electric motor operation
  • Good team communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience building electric motors
  • Previous CAD experience, specifically in 3DX/Catia
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience managing a new product from engineering to production
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity
