Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Making and assembling products
• Inspecting incoming materials
• Electronic assembly (soldering of some components)
• Mechanical assembly (bolting, layup, other simple tasks)
• Testing and calibrating electronic amplifiers and drivers
• Final electrical testing and Quality Control (QCP)
• Packaging and shipping completed orders
• Operating equipment required to manufacture Midé products (soldering iron, scale, electronic test and laboratory equipment)
• Order processing (receiving and entering order information into accounting and tracking systems, pulling products from inventory, packaging, and shipping completed orders)
• Personal time management, organization, and task prioritization
• Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety, order, and cleanliness

Education and/or Experience

A High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-10 years manufacturing technician experience required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a manufacturing technician with electronic testing experience or similar role
• Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment
• Familiarity working with various tools and equipment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Motivated self-starter willing to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Deal with peers, supervisors, subordinates, and others in a professional manner
• Good organization skills
• Works efficiently to meet production goals
• Ability to arrange work and storage areas for most efficient workflow
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Demands

Minimal, occasional carrying/moving/storage of materials and supplies. Due to the nature of our government work, the applicant must be a U.S. person (citizen or Green Card holder/permanent resident).
