Manufacturing Technician III - 2nd Shift

About the Role
With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals in the MCT Laser Cutting factory (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.
2nd Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
- Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product
- Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
- Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reports
- Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings
- Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals
- Work with Process Development to bring new products into production
- Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery
- Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent
Preferred
- Experience with Class IV Laser systems
- 3 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment
Pay
Minimum Salary: $55,432
Maximum Salary: $94,224
