Responsibilities

  • Use of equipment that includes washers, autoclaves, manual pallet jacks, airlocks, lifts, and manual tools.
  • Prepare, sanitize, and stage equipment for a variety of uses, including filtration and formulation operations.
  • Operate sensitive equipment for the testing of filters for operations.
  • Identify and conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Cleaning and organizing in a clean room environment.
  • Follow all safe practices, policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions in controlled environments up to and including classified clean rooms.
  • Complete and maintain compliance with the Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete moderately complex tasks related to manufacturing of cell culture media.
  • Perform related duties as required to meet the business goals and requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Formal training in Lean, 5S, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment, manufacturing, engineering, or related field is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced work environment is strongly preferred.
  • General understanding of technical, mechanical, and machinery equipment is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail for complex instructions and documentation while maintaining quality output.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple processes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Perform basic math, verbal, written, and oral communication with team.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 50 pounds and may be required to stand for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Ability to squat, bend, and reach different items to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (when required), safety glasses, and gloves. PPE may also include a bump cap, face shield, and full/half-face respirators.
  • Availability to work overtime and flexible shift patterns.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
  • Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed.
  • Will work with hazardous/toxic materials.

Schedule

3rd Shift - Monday to Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.

Pay

Competitive pay: $20/hr; plus shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
