About the role

The Manufacturing Technician position at Bioventus involves assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components according to specifications. This role requires the use of electronic testing equipment to ensure product specifications are met and documented accurately, as well as performing various tasks such as programming devices, self-inspection, internal auditing, labeling, packaging, and shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Ensure devices are programmed properly using custom programming software.
  • Test devices using test equipment to ensure specifications are met.
  • Perform in-process self-inspection functions as specified per procedures.
  • Perform any and all functions related to labeling and packaging Exogen products.
  • Avoid violating ESD requirements while handling electronic components.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, self, and cross-audits.
  • Routinely check work area for safety and cleanliness and participate in 6S activities.
  • Cross-train and possess working knowledge of all areas of manufacturing and kitting.
  • Conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies, and procedures, and internal controls applicable to their role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalency.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a basic electronics background and working knowledge of test equipment and assembly procedures.
  • Well organized and detail oriented with good communication skills.
  • Previous medical electronics experience in a GMP environment preferred.
