Role Summary
The Manufacturing Technician B supports manufacturing operations by performing tasks across the production process, collaborating with engineers on equipment setup and calibration, and conducting quality testing on parts, components, and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure manufacturing compliance with quality standards
- Assist in process improvements
- Support root cause analysis
- Make adjustments or replacements to address failures
- Monitor quality using statistical controls
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance product quality, cost, and schedule
- Maintain professional standards and support operational targets, including flexible work hours as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience or an associate degree with 0–2 years of experience
- Preferred: Experience with prototype/build processes
- Preferred: Process improvement tools (lean, six sigma)
- Preferred: Ability to interpret schematics
- Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise software like SAP and TeamCenter
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
