Role Summary

The Manufacturing Technician B supports manufacturing operations by performing tasks across the production process, collaborating with engineers on equipment setup and calibration, and conducting quality testing on parts, components, and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure manufacturing compliance with quality standards
  • Assist in process improvements
  • Support root cause analysis
  • Make adjustments or replacements to address failures
  • Monitor quality using statistical controls
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance product quality, cost, and schedule
  • Maintain professional standards and support operational targets, including flexible work hours as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience or an associate degree with 0–2 years of experience
  • Preferred: Experience with prototype/build processes
  • Preferred: Process improvement tools (lean, six sigma)
  • Preferred: Ability to interpret schematics
  • Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise software like SAP and TeamCenter
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Uphold high ethical standards
