Manufacturing Technician

About the role
In this role, you will prepare and perform manual tasks (inspection, deburring, etc.) or run a CNC machine such as drilling, milling, etc., to within close tolerances. You are responsible for producing high-quality parts and materials by reading and interpreting blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain tooling in peak condition.
- Understand specifications and desired results by reading mechanical drawings.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so machines perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
- Supervise machines while executing programs and make adjustments to produce desired results.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions taken or needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings preferred.
- Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize according to requirements.
- Understands, writes, and speaks basic and technical English.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts if required.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Pay
$23 – $26 per hour.
