Support production by following detailed manufacturing plans, assembling and inspecting parts, and ensuring high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Follow manufacturing plans, specifications, and SOPs to complete production tasks.
- Verify materials, parts, and tools are available before starting work.
- Assemble, lay up, inspect, and package parts according to quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections, identifying defects and Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
- Properly handle tools, equipment, hazardous materials, and required PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, RCCA, and Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Identify process issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement programs.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working overtime as needed.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production setting with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Frequent standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
- Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position based in Hayden, ID.
Pay
$18.00 - $22.00/hr.
