About the Role

Supports all aspects regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost (SQDC) of the assigned production Value Stream(s).

Responsibilities

  • Put Safety first at all times; never compromise on safety for the obtainment of other objectives.
  • Responsible for health and safety of themselves and coworkers.
  • Perform manufacturing operations within a carbon fiber composite site.
  • Accurately and efficiently set up equipment per engineering instructions.
  • Execute daily start-up activities.
  • Accurately complete/create documentation associated with production processes.
  • Maintain a safe workspace/environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions.

Skills & Characteristics

  • Ability to work a 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations require, with overtime dependent on business need.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Physical demands include: stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering, and climbing.
  • Frequently positions sheets of material onto molds and/or manually sands parts.
  • Frequent repetitive hand movements and use of hand tools such as pliers, sanders, and scissors.
  • Frequently remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to detect and recognize visual differences between materials or parts.
  • Frequently moves molds and parts over 25 lbs between work tables and carts.
  • Indoor production environment with adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures.
  • Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts.
