About the Role
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment, setup and changeovers, and training of AMT and TNT technicians.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the assembly process from start to finish.
- Understand and monitor PLC and Robotic programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Report production statistics such as finished goods, scrap, productivity, etc.
- Order supplies and equipment when needed; maintain spare parts inventory.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Ensure proper tooling and computer programs are applied to new product setups.
- Support production operators and Engineering to resolve production issues.
- Participate in process improvement activities.
- Other activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology or Automated Manufacturing Systems; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to lead teams effectively (typically a team of 2-5 members).
- Ability to diagnose equipment failures and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet project deadlines.
