Responsibilities
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment, setup and changeovers, and training of AMT and TNT technicians.
- Oversee the assembly process from start to finish
- Understand and monitor PLC and Robotic programs
- Equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Report production statistics such as finished goods, scrap, productivity, etc.
- Order supplies and equipment when needed, maintain spare parts inventory
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Ensure proper tooling and computer programs are applied to new product setups
- Support production operators and Engineering to resolve production issues
- Participate in process improvement activities
- Other activities as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Electromechanical Technology or Automated Manufacturing Systems
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Ability to lead teams effectively - typically team of 2-5 members
- Ability to diagnose equipment failures and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electronics systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and able to consistently meet project deadlines
Working Conditions
The following equipment is used: Computer, telephone, hand tools, and production equipment. Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE) includes Safety glasses with attached side shields, ESD smock and grounding equipment, Heat resistant and/or cut resistant gloves, and Disposal gloves/finger cots as required.
