Job Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework of various products and mechanical assemblies.
- Interpret and work from standard assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and running sheets, often of intermediate to significant complexity.
- Follow established procedures for reworking components to meet quality control specifications.
- Carry out testing, inspection, and repair of mechanical assemblies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and provide guidance to other technicians when needed.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to various manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to written documents, including SOPs, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Interface with other departments to ensure efficient flow of materials and information.
- Meet production deadlines and uphold high-quality standards.
- Availability to work overtime when required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $45,112-$64,511. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
