Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

Overview

Responsibilities

• Independent layup of 70% parts with knowledge in both SR and SF within their immediate cell.
• Achieve a minimum efficiency of 58%.
• Maintain a high level of quality while balancing the need for efficiency.
• Use WI, Solumina, and complete the layup portion of CSOs independently with minimal supervision.
• Apply the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
• Comply with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
• Understand all process specifications and pertinent reference information.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines and report any hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Department Supervisor, or Line Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 months to 1 year of direct composite work or 3 years manufacturing experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills required
