Agilent, with locations in PEI and Nova Scotia, is a contract developer and manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients specializing in clinical-to-commercial scale production for microbial fermentation, synthetic small molecules (including ADC, HPAPI), plasmid DNA, mRNA, LNP, and sterile filling capabilities.

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Windsor, NS, plant.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes in compliance with cGMP and company SOPs.
• Operate and maintain production equipment for microbial fermentation, synthetic small molecules, plasmid DNA, mRNA, LNP, and sterile filling.
• Perform in-process testing, documentation, and batch record review.
• Support process development, scale-up, and technology transfer activities.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in safety programs and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in a cGMP environment.
• Familiarity with microbial fermentation, synthetic chemistry, or sterile filling processes is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
