Job Summary
Provide technical support to end-users for production applications.
Shifts Open
- Shift A - 6am to 6pm
- Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Role and Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: responsible for identifying and solving end-user problems with production applications, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining productivity.
- Knowledge and Configuration Management: contribute to the Knowledge Database and Configuration Management Database, providing valuable information for ongoing support and system improvements.
- Technical Assistance: Offer technical support to production employees, helping them navigate and effectively use MES 4.0 applications.
- Problem Simulation: Recreate user problems to understand and resolve operating difficulties, which is crucial for finding long-term solutions.
- Training and Assistance: Provide training and assistance to users, enhancing their ability to utilize the production applications effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety and health rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.
- Collaboration and Communication: Actively participate in team discussions, sharing ideas and information to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving measures by streamlining processes and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that procedures and work instructions are efficient, not redundant, and aligned with quality standards.
- Complex Situations: Confer with their reporting manager on complex or unusual situations, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
- Best Practices Sharing: Exchange knowledge with other facilities within the organization, promoting the adoption of best practices.
- Policy Adherence: Maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and quality.
- Data Confidentiality: Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding data and proprietary information.
- Instruction Interpretation: Adept at interpreting various forms of instructions, whether written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled.
- Strategic Alignment: Understand and embrace the Operation and IT strategic direction, aligning their efforts with the company’s goals.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED preferred, but not required or equivalent experience and one year of experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft applications/utilities required.
- A+ certification a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in the following:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues with applications.
- Incident Management: Competence in resolving site-level incidents.
- Basic Understanding of Production Applications: A foundational grasp of how production applications function and the role these applications play in the manufacturing process.
