About the role
The Tech Lead for Manufacturing & Supply Chain will own the technical vision and go-to-market execution for smart manufacturing and supply chain solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and/or industrial technology, along with experience in AWS services and market segments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technology strategy execution for manufacturing and supply chain use cases
- Translate industry challenges into AWS-native solutions
- Develop and deliver GTM assets such as reference architectures, white papers, workshops, code samples, and thought leadership content
- Collaborate across product, partner, and sales organizations to align priorities and accelerate customer outcomes
- Engage directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor
- Articulate customer needs by synthesizing observations from customer engagements and industry trends
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
Qualifications
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
- Experience in a professional field or military
- Experience working with systems integrators and consulting companies to achieve sales
- Master's degree or above in relevant field
- 3+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience, or AWS Associate level certification
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity
- Technical knowledge of common enterprise application and commercial software used across the Manufacturing industry
