Manufacturing & Supply Chain Support

About the role

This role supports daily production operations at SKF, a global leader in bearings and related technologies. The primary responsibilities include manufacturing support, supply chain/logistics, and shipping/receiving. Key duties involve material staging, kitting, line support, assembly, inventory control, demand fulfillment, and communication with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to work instructions, quality standards, and 5S requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
• Care for components and materials to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate material flow between receiving, warehouse, and production areas.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and stock accuracy.
• Aid in demand fulfillment and internal order tracking.
• Communicate material shortages and expedite needs to the appropriate teams.
• Prepare outbound shipments including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Load/unload trucks using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of shipping & receiving processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, data entry).
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams (production, supply chain, leadership).
• Team-oriented with a "hands-on" approach.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, M3, or similar).
• Knowledge of inventory control methods (cycle counting, FIFO, etc.).
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (air dryers, spindle reman, machining, etc.).

Pay

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
