Manufacturing Supervisor - Paper Machine

Responsibilities

• Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others, managing twenty or more direct reports.
• Monitor and achieve operational and/or financial results for your area of responsibility.
• Oversee people management actions including hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
• Supervise entry-level or semi-skilled hourly employees such as production, craft, and clerical workers.
• Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to ensure task completion and operational objectives are met.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using established procedures.
• Apply operational business practices and collaborate with related areas to improve efficiency.
• Direct operations of work units, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
• Provide strong leadership and teamwork to produce a quality product while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• BA degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends, on a 5-week rotation:
  • 3 days off, 4 days on; 7 days off, 4 days on; 3 days off, 3 days on; 1 day off, 4 days on.
  • This rotation includes 2 long weekends (Friday through Sunday) and one Friday and Saturday off.
• SAP experience preferred.
