About the role
This position is responsible for providing adequate support to all manufacturing areas with increased volume and growth. Position Type Full Time, Exempt
Responsibilities
- Supporting and developing the entire manufacturing or assembly team, including a minimum of four Team Leaders and fifty Team Members
- Managing all aspects of Assembly/Manufacturing including planning, organizing, staffing, etc.
- Responsible for meeting production requirements while also meeting performance metrics in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Five years of previous manufacturing experience
- Three years in a leadership role
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field
- Five – seven years of assembly experience in a related industry
- Five years in a leadership role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Able to use creative problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and self-directed
- Able to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency
- Able to give direction well, either verbal or written
Job Conditions
- Manufacturing/factory environment
- Subject to noise and temperature changes
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to overtime, Saturday and/or Sunday work
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities. These activities may involve fine movements or large motions
- Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist
- Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed
- Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment
- Wear PPE as required
