About the role

CPI Electron Device Business is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead an onsite assembly and test team in Beverly, MA. • Develop operators/technicians/inspectors through skills matrices and cross-training that increases flexibility and team capability.
  • Balance high-mix/low-volume builds; optimize standard work, line balancing, and changeover to cut queue time and cycle time.
  • Manage materials readiness and shipment execution, maintaining shipment schedule integrity with proactive communication.
  • Ensure traveler accuracy, routing discipline, traceability, and defect reduction through error-proofing and robust documentation.
  • Lead Kaizen/5S, waste elimination, and setup reduction initiatives with quantified outcomes (on-time delivery, first-pass yield, cycle time, scrap).
  • Support NPI and change management to introduce new builds while protecting schedule and quality.
  • Champion a safe, inclusive, high-accountability environment; model urgency and ownership in a dynamic RF setting.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a complex build environment.
  • Demonstrated bias for action with examples of improving on-time delivery, first-pass yield, or reducing cycle time/scrap.
  • Ability to lead and coach a small team (operators/technicians/inspectors) with clear expectations and feedback.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable making decisions in a fast-changing environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in high-mix/low-volume aerospace or complex electromechanical assembly.
  • Exposure to RF passive components (e.g., TR hard-brazed tubes, RF limiters).
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
