About the role
The Manufacturing Supervisor provides operations and team oversight, playing a pivotal role in leading a business unit. This includes supervising and coaching manufacturing resources to build a high-performing, flexible, and engaged workforce. The role ensures safety, quality, and technical performance and supports the evolution of safety, quality, delivery, cost reduction, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide operations and team oversight, supervising and coaching manufacturing resources.
- Ensure safety, quality, and technical performance in manufacturing processes.
- Support and help evolve safety, quality, delivery, cost reduction, and employee engagement.
- Ensure continuous improvement and resource management goals are realized.
- Support process improvement initiatives, staffing plans, resource allocation, and production scheduling.
- Interact and communicate consistently with strategic partners (leadership, engineering, quality, logistics) to achieve daily and long-term goals.
- Support forecasting, financial planning, capital expenditures, training initiatives, and monthly delivery plans.
Requirements
- High-speed manufacturing expertise.
- Experience in continuous improvement and process improvement.
- Strong supervisory skills with over 4 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Ability to understand, monitor, coach, and positively impact the performance of individuals and production lines.
- Understanding of SOPs, lean methodologies, and execution of plans to yield results.
- Experience in overseeing manufacturing personnel and working with various departments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, engineering documentation, and machining equipment.
- 2-year degree required, preferably in engineering or a technical field (any degree considered with relevant experience).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00 per hour.
