Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor provides front-line leadership for 3rd shift manufacturing operations, ensuring the safe, quality-compliant, and efficient production of medical devices. This role is responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team, achieving production, quality, and cost objectives, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The supervisor partners closely with Scheduling, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the right capacity, volume, and product mix are available to meet customer demand while supporting operational excellence and employee development.

In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. This role requires working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite to foster a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plan and administer procedures and budgets; make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
• Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

Requirements

• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
• Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Requires 1+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Nice to Have:

• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience and implementing Lean Manufacturing Projects.
• Six Sigma background or certification.
• Familiarity with cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint).
• Exposure to automation/PLC troubleshooting or equipment maintenance basics.
• Knowledge and experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Barcode labor tracking/material tracing, Statistical Process Control (SPC)/Defect tracking, FDA, ISO, and Device History Record (DHR) requirements and regulations, Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA, and basic Cost Accounting.
• Technical background in Project Management, cost accounting.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Pay

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $72,000.00 - $108,000.00. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.

Schedule

This role requires working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite during 3rd shift.
