Manufacturing Specialist - Weekday Night, 2nd Shift (M–T, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM)-updated shift
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in the turbine generator component factory in Fort Payne, Alabama. Our factory has been producing high-quality electrical components for 37 years in a safe, comfortable, climate-controlled environment.
About the role
This position is on the Weekday Night, 2nd Shift (Mon–Thurs, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM). You will manufacture parts for large generators, working with teammates to produce top-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
- Utilize various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
- Strong safety and quality mindset.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications or the ability to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
