Manufacturing Specialist- In-Process Inspection

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical component assemblies in accordance with IPC 610, IPC 620, and soldering standards IPC-JSTD-001
• Perform minor rework tasks on defective boards as per company guidelines
• Set up and operate X-Ray / AOI machines for visual and software-assisted inspection of PCBs
• Download and process inspection data; monitor equipment functionality
• Communicate results and quality issues to relevant production or engineering teams
• Enter/extract data in computer systems and use a bar code scanner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inspection and touch-up of electronic components
• Good math fundamentals and ability to read and comprehend written work instructions
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and use GO/NO GO, direct and fixed gauges, scales, micrometers, and direct reading electrical test sets
• Eye and color recognition tests
• IPC-JSTD-001 and IPC-610 certifications
• Must be able to obtain and maintain ESD precautions certification
• Monday-Thursday, day shift of 10 hours per day (5:00a-3:30p)
