Manufacturing Senior Specialist - Lean Manufacturing

Responsibilities
- Leading and developing the Production Engineering team to support manufacturing execution and long-term operational goals.
- Providing rapid technical engineering support to resolve production issues and minimize manufacturing disruptions.
- Owning manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions to ensure consistency, stability, and scalability.
- Driving manufacturability reviews and supporting engineering changes to ensure efficient and controlled implementation.
- Partnering with Manufacturing Operations to align engineering priorities with production needs.
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and process readiness activities.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Building technical capability and leadership strength through coaching, mentoring, and performance management of engineers.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline) or comparable experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
- Have demonstrated experience leading and developing technical or engineering teams.
- Have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and problem-solving tools.
- Have a working understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Have strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Have a data-driven mindset with focus on execution, results, and accountability.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for operations and leadership audiences.
Qualifications
- Passionate about driving lean manufacturing, safety, and operational excellence across production operations.

Pay
The annual pay scale for this position is between $101,530.00 - $188,470.00. Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
