About the role

We are seeking skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineers with a focus on Manufacturing Planning to join our dynamic team at both Specialist and Sr. Specialist levels. The ideal candidates will have a robust background in manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineering, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Manufacturing Engineering (CMfgE).
    • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple and complex projects simultaneously.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
    • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
