About the Role
As the Manufacturing Controls/Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for the concept, design, and documentation of automated manufacturing equipment that supports site processes and meets production-rate goals.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve existing electrical controls equipment such as PLCs, AC & DC motors, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
- Improve existing controls equipment to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Develop electrical automation designs from hardware specifications into complete construction packages for fabrication, assembly, checkout, and startup.
- Create design and documentation in accordance with company and industry standards using Dassault DraftSight or equivalent CAD tools.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, quality, safety, IT, and other disciplines to deliver best-practice solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Working knowledge of electrical and logic drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve industrial automation equipment issues.
- Knowledgeable of machine electrical design.
- Knowledgeable of industrial electronics and electrical components.
Skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Communicates well with technical, management, and front-line employees.
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $76,700.00 - $142,500.00
