About the role

As a recruiter at Shurtape Technologies, you will manage the full life cycle of recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, screening, and onboarding job candidates. You will collaborate closely with the human resources department and other teams to provide customer-focused HR support, helping the organization achieve its goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop staffing strategies based on business workforce plans.
  • Partner with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, duties, qualifications, and skills; initiate requisition approval process.
  • Review job descriptions with hiring managers during the requisition process.
  • Place job advertising across various media platforms.
  • Review applications and interview applicants to assess work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements while providing information about the organization and role.
  • Initiate contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings.
  • Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify, source, and pipeline qualified candidates.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Generate offer letters in coordination with hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, NC Works, and other public organizations to attract applicants.
  • Represent the organization at schools, job fairs, and public events to promote opportunities.
  • Coordinate participation in career fairs, including setup and staffing.
  • Initiate and monitor background screenings with vendors.
  • Launch electronic onboarding for new hires prior to their first day.
  • Maintain orientation materials for new employees.
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientations for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Maintain the badging system for all North Carolina employees.
  • Enter temporary employees into the timekeeping system and coordinate with temp agencies and managers to ensure proper access.
