Manufacturing Recruiter

About the role
The Contract Recruiter will support high-volume hiring across multiple facilities and corporate functions. This role requires strong full-cycle recruiting experience, attention to compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering a positive candidate experience while meeting business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for both industrial and corporate positions, supporting multiple locations
- Maintain an active requisition load (approximately 30 open roles at a time)
- Source candidates through a variety of channels to build strong, ongoing talent pipelines
- Screen resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews
- Facilitate offer preparation and hiring processes while ensuring a smooth candidate experience
- Serve as a point of contact for applicant and employee recruiting inquiries
- Track and document recruiting activity within an applicant tracking system
- Ensure recruiting practices align with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Partner with HR and business leaders on hiring strategies and special projects as needed
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience supporting both industrial and office-based roles
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including OFCCP guidelines
- Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in an environment with EEO and compliance requirements
- Understanding of disposition codes and compliance documentation
- Familiarity with HR lifecycle processes from hiring through onboarding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience using applicant tracking systems; UKG preferred (ADP or Workday also acceptable)
- Exposure to reporting or dashboard tools is a plus
Pay
$34–$35 / hour (based on experience). Contract-to-hire opportunity with target conversion salary of $72,000 - $75,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (core hours 9:00 AM–4:30 PM). Hybrid schedule with two days onsite per week (Tuesdays required; second day flexible).
