Job Purpose

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections and audits across projects.
  • Analyzes quality data and recommends corrective actions.
  • Maintains compliance with ISO/API standards.
  • Prepares detailed QA reports and documentation.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Serves as documentation representative with clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Reviews documentation output from manufacturing and suppliers in accordance with engineering drawings, quality plans, and order requirements.
  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and external.

Qualifications

  • University Degree/Diploma with 2-4 years related experience with electronics.
  • May have Master’s/Grad Degree & 0-2 years experience QBE - Qualified by Experience with electronics.
  • Competent in the use of computer software applications used for administration, including Microsoft Suite and Adobe.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with Oil & Gas manufacturing company.
  • 2+ years’ experience with manufacturing company in QA/QC function.
  • Experience with JDE ERP and Power BI.
  • Proficient in reviewing mill test reports, NDE reports, and other quality documentation.
  • Experience scanning, uploading and maintaining records.
  • ASQ CQA and/or CQI certified.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electronics and PCBAs.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
  • Knowledge of GD&T.
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, GR&R, process flow map, and control plan.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as SPC, Cpk, Ppk, ANOVA, and pareto.
  • Proficiency developing reports with Power BI or similar software.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1 and Q2 requirements.
  • Experience managing calibration program.
  • Experience in process improvement.
  • ISO 9001 or other industry standard QMS audit training/experience/certification, proficiency in formal auditing techniques.
  • Presentation skills enabling effective demonstration of concepts, findings and recommendations to management, Customers, external agencies and auditors.
  • Skills in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.

Bilingual Requirements

Bilingual in Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese a plus, but not required.
