Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QC Inspectors and Technicians to ensure timely in process and final inspections.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, inspection processes, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee non-conformance reporting and resolution using Autodesk ACC (BIM 360).
- Manage measurement and testing activities (plumbing, electrical, welding, MedGas).
- Verify completion of production documentation prior to final QC approval.
- Drive root cause analysis using 5-Why, 8D, PDCA, and other problem solving tools.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement quality improvements.
- Monitor KPIs and provide data driven reporting and recommendations.
- Work directly with Operations management to implement new processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for quality staff.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce safety policies.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of quality control/assurance experience in manufacturing or construction.
- Supervisory or team lead experience.
- Degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Ability to read, mark up, and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (5-Why, 8D, PDCA).
- Experience with Autodesk ACC/BIM 360, Dozuki, HoloBuilder, or Smartsheet.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- CQT or CQI certification.
- Familiarity with modular or off site construction.
- Knowledge of healthcare or commercial modular construction regulatory requirements.
