About the role
As a Manufacturing Quality & Compliance Lead at Pretium Packaging, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will lead the development and implementation of quality management systems, conduct audits, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are effectively executed.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality management systems aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the rigid plastics manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality management systems.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and FDA regulations.
- Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
