Responsibilities
- Ensure Quality Standards from contractor documents, submittals, and specifications are being met.
- Maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, while adhering to industry and company best-practices.
- Ensure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impact.
- Maintain accurate and detailed QA/QC records periodically to ensure proper activity documentation.
- Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possible.
- Operate with minimal direction from Supervisor.
- Participate in project meetings and conference calls as necessary.
- Participate in engineering, design, and construction review processes, as well as implement any standards that need to be met at all stages of installation.
- Maintain current documentation of Inspections performed by Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
- Supervise inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery process.
- Maintain current company certifications and cyclical renewals as needed.
- Assist Supervisor in implementing Continuous Improvement practices.
- Submission/Creation of Non-Conformance Reports to Internal Project team/Quality Supervisor
- Participation in meetings, scheduling updates, and addressing outstanding 'open items' as requested by clients.
- Preparation of Daily/Weekly progress reports.
- Monitoring Quality Management System and identifying any issues.
- Regular reporting to Supervisor
- Ensuring the highest quality standards of products and services achievable.
- Aid Project Team to ensure a high level of performance.
- Aid Project Teams to ensure functional sequencing of inspections.
- Ensure approved material is installed during integration process.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards, such as NEC (National Electrical Code), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), or IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
- Fundamental skills in Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant Quality Management Standards
- Previous experience as Licensed Electrician Lead
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties
