Position Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Project Coordinator to help manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects from order release through final delivery. This role works closely with production, engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, and customer support teams to keep projects on schedule, maintain accurate records, and ensure customer requirements are met. Responsibilities
- Cook up configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship orders throughout the entire order lifecycle, from order entry to shipment and project completion
- Check incoming sales orders for accuracy, completeness, and product configuration details
- Keep tabs on project milestones, including material availability, production progress, quality inspections, testing, and shipping schedules
- Keep order information accurate using ERP systems and project tracking software
- Give customers order status updates and alert them to schedule changes or delays
- Spot orders that might miss delivery deadlines and pass issues to the right people for resolution
- Help with shipping coordination, logistics activities, and customer-specific documentation requirements
- Make internal reports and customer-facing project status updates
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to scheduling, order management, and project tracking
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
- One to three years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working with ERP systems and project management or order tracking software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow projects through completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO), make-to-order (MTO), or similar manufacturing processes
- Exposure to power distribution equipment or other industrial products
- Experience coordinating logistics and shipments for manufactured products
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification
