Manufacturing/Production Supervisor - 5th shift

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain an active, existing U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one.

About the Role

Radio Frequency Components (RFC) has a need for a 5th shift Production Supervisor at its Andover, MA facility. This position has overall responsibility for the Wafer Fabrication operations team consisting of 15-20 employees. This individual will lead a team of people in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of work. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, equipment maintenance, production control, and the program management office.

• Area layout and flow management
• Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
• Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures
• Lead and engage in safety improvement projects to maintain a safe work environment
• Achieve/exceed cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma and lean methodologies

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in and/or guiding semiconductor manufacturing in a bargaining unit environment in the aerospace/defense industry
• Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean/Six Sigma implementation projects
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and solid people management while using good judgment to resolve conflicts
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP

Schedule

5th shift: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
