Manufacturing/Processing Engineer Aerospace

About the role

Assist with writing, reviewing and revising work and process instructions to meet customer needs. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements. Coordinate production workflow for multiple products, ensuring smooth operations throughout the production and distribution life of each product. Responsible for developing, creating, and reviewing 2D dimensioned drawings for shop matching product requirements. Perform other related duties to learn the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC. Work on special projects within the Engineering department as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and revise work and process instructions
• Develop manufacturing processes based on product requirements
• Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
• Develop, create, and review 2D dimensioned drawings for shop use
• Perform related duties to support work unit efficiency
• Participate in special engineering projects as assigned

Requirements

• Three (3) years of aircraft manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of CATIA and/or MRP system (preferred)
• Familiarity with Geometric Tolerances (GDT)
• Strong computer skills and understanding of ERP systems
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs
