About the role

The Manufacturing Process Operator in Training will perform tasks and activities in assigned areas, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve production goals according to cGMP and assist in department readiness through self-inspections and daily housekeeping.
  • Follow proper documentation and verification guidelines for all relevant documents.
  • Suggest and implement safety improvements and address process and safety concerns within a team setting.
  • Operate in varying environments, including outdoor work during changing weather conditions.
  • Learns and operates various large-scale processing equipment, including dryers, filters, baghouses, mills, baggers, pneumatic material transfers, fermenters, gas boilers, air compressors, water systems, chillers, cooling towers, forklifts, and product/raw material movement on/offsite.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Basic computer skills and good documentation skills
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal interaction skills
  • Ability to handle 50-pound packages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cGMP-regulated environments
  • Experience with equipment cleaning, sterilization, and tank turnaround activities
  • Knowledge of process monitoring tools (e.g., pH, dissolved oxygen)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

Location: Clinton, Indiana
Manufacturing Site
Must work a Days and/or Nights, 12-hour rotating schedule; Operator covers days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Overtime varies by department and individual roles, offered on a volunteer basis, and may include mandatory overtime.
Completion of work simulation, post-offer exam, background screening, and physical/medical evaluation required.
