Manufacturing Process Engineer
About the role
The Production Manufacturing Process Engineer position offers an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military experience to a 3M career. You will collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world and make an impact by leading and contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor productivity and cost performance, and initiate improvement projects as needed
- Provide daily production support within your assigned area
- Understand key customer requirements and ensure processes consistently meet capability expectations
- Apply technical expertise to support site and departmental needs, including special projects
- Communicate project progress, implementation status, and cost impacts to plant management and supervision
- Enhance your technical skillset by developing a strong network across the New Ulm plant and the broader 3M organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing or process engineering environment
- Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution

Pay
$98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
Schedule
On-site in New Ulm, MN. May include up to 5% domestic/international travel.
