Manufacturing Plant Technician

About the Role

The Plant Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed production equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing processes and product quality. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous skill development in areas like electrical, quality assurance, and safety. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with physical demands and shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated equipment and control processes via computer terminals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Maintain accurate records and data related to production.
• Handle material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
• Contribute to meeting performance and quality goals.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with operating hand/power tools and high-speed machinery.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Pay

$26.20/hour (starting).
