Manufacturing/Plant Manager
About the role
Unitex is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the production team at our industrial plant in Linden, NJ. This position directly manages two Assistant Plant Managers, four Production Supervisors, and all plant employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintain individual and department performance at established standards
- Ensure production levels and productivity goals are achieved
- Maintain daily reports
- Hire, train, and discipline employees to achieve goals
- Oversee high-level quality of products sent to customers
- Ensure Unitex policies and procedures are implemented and followed
- Be flexible to work additional hours when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of managerial experience running a plant in a production/service environment, overseeing multi-layer management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting
- High degree of customer responsiveness
- Understands production workflow and MS Office
- Proven ability to manage to standards
Pay
Salary range: $110,000 (plus bonus). Actual compensation is based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other job-related considerations.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with flexibility to work additional hours as needed).
