Production Manager, Plant Manufacturing

Production Manager – PAC, ProAmpac Plant Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of a large‑scale production department, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high‑performing production team of 100+ employees.
• Oversee production schedules and execution, meeting targets for scrap, labor, quality, and safety.
• Implement lean practices, reduce costs, and improve productivity through continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment while complying with quality and safety standards.
• Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams to support company‑wide goals and growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably managing teams of 100+ employees.
• Strong people‑leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and trust‑building.
• Knowledge of manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and workflow best practices.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
